ARTS AND CRAFTS Mountain View is the original home of the Arkansas Craft
Guild. The Guild is an organization of crafts The vast array of local crafts can be seen in shops around town and at the Ozark Folk Center Gift Shop. Crafts also abound in booths on the street on selected weekends throughout the spring to fall seasons. In addition to beautiful handmade crafts, the members of the Mountain View Art Guild include professional award winning artists who show their works in local businesses and shops. Numerous antique shops and flea markets are open year around in the community. Visitors can browse through collectibles, go "junk hunting", or shop for fine early American or European antiques all in one day.
